Q. Do I need a special license to operate a dunebuggy?   
A. Nope. Just a valid driver's license from your state. And you need to know how to operate a manual transmission. And be 21 or over.
 
Q. Can I take it off-road?
A. Nope. Don't let the name "dune" mislead you. These things are super fun to drive on the road, and the gorgeous scenery on our island is best seen in an open air vehicle. The views from our roads are absolutely breathtaking.
 
Q. Is the car ecological?
A. Yeah! The pan (or frame) is recycled from a rust-free VW Beetle, stripped down, inspected and used as the base for the dunebuggy. And because they're so light, they get great gas mileage.
 
Q. How many people can fit?
A. Generally four adults.
 
Q. I'm not 21, or I'm just not comfortable driving, but I really want ride in one. Can I?
A. Sure! If for any reason you're not able rent, by all means take the tour.
 
Q. We have 5 or more people. What can we do?
A. Rent two! Or, have a guide drive one and rent the other.
